Notes:  It's #50 in the Ligne Bretagne Collector series at last!  These pipes have proven so popular that it's hard to believe that I've only made a mere fifty of them during these past many years since we created the Ligne Bretagne brand.  I wanted to do something new and special for #50, so it's different from most of the previous ones in a couple of ways - It has a black acrylic stem, for one, custom-filed, shaped, and thinned, with a deeper V slot cut and smoothed internally.  Also, it has a neat wood decor band borrowed from a recent Talbert Briar done for an order.  I got curious and wondered what a sandblasted band would look like, and I enjoyed the look on the TB that I did, so I thought I'd try a fancier effect here.  This one features flanking rings of bocote around a center section of morta, and I've sandblasted the morta center section only to give it a nice rustic look.  I think it's a nice change from the usual smooth, polished wood decorative bits.
Light weight, extremely old Algerian briar, very custom stem - a good pipe for our fiftieth, I think.
